Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Personally I see the 14th February as another day to be with the people that I love and cherish. And I'm happy that this year I actually have someone that I love who I call my partner in crime (no name needed), but for some strange reason I haven't fallen into the cliche of the great valentine's day. I think its because I'm at a mature age and I don't have nothing to prove to anyone because as long as I'm happy where I am then nothing else matters.
Message to my ladies
If you have a good man who shows his love for you 24/7 then hold on to him and celebrate today if you really want to but don't feel like you have to celebrate it because everyone else is.
On the other hand I heard a girl on the train yesterday saying that her man is a prick because he said that he doesn't celebrate valentine's day, all I have to say is it doesn't hurt to buy a 99p rose. And also if your man can not treat you like the princess that you are then why are you still with him and why are you moaning to your single yet happy work friend?
Single ladies please do not feel down toady or sorry for yourself just romance yourself because apart from God who else can love you like you do.
Message to my dudes
If you honestly don't celebrate valentine's day because its not your style or because you always show your girlfriend love and affection then just let her know that its not your thing and you don't feel the need to follow society. But DO NOT be fake about it because I've heard guys say things like that and the truth is that they just don't want to spend any money. And to be honest its not too expensive 99p card, 99p rose, 99p chocolate and if you really really love her 5.99 teddy bear that's hardly breaking the bank is it now.
